Member of the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Medicine, Birzeit University

Since June 2026 I am a member of the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Medicine at Birzeit University, which is preparing to launch its Doctor of Medicine programme. The board is chaired by Dr. Mamdouh Al-Aker, with Dr. Rana Al-Khatib as its secretary, and brings together physicians and academics from Palestine and abroad. My role is to contribute expertise in computational medical imaging research and in bringing artificial intelligence into medical education, one of the priorities the university has set for the new faculty (Birzeit University news).
