With the GLOHRA Steering Committee, I joined the Parliamentary Evening on global health at the German Bundestag, bringing researchers’ perspectives on global health research in low- and middle-income countries to Members of Parliament.

On 5 June 2025 I was at the German Bundestag (Jakob-Kaiser-Haus) for the Parliamentary Evening on global health, together with fellow members of the German Alliance for Global Health Research (GLOHRA) Steering Committee. The evening, opened with a welcome by Ruppert Stüwe, Member of the Bundestag, brought researchers and parliamentarians together to discuss global health research in low- and middle-income countries.

It took place on the first day of the GLOHRA Steering Committee meeting and GLOHRA Day. Shortly afterwards, GLOHRA published its joint call for the continuation of the Subcommittee on Global Health in the 21st German Bundestag (June 2025), which I co-signed as a Steering Committee member.

It was my second visit to the Bundestag with GLOHRA, after June 2024; I returned for the 2026 Parliamentary Evening.
