With the GLOHRA Steering Committee, I attended the Parliamentary Evening on global women’s health research at the German Bundestag, hosted by GLOHRA and the Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung (DSW).

On 25 June 2026 I was back at the German Bundestag for the Parliamentary Evening on global women’s health research, hosted by the German Alliance for Global Health Research (GLOHRA) together with the Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung (DSW). The evening brought together policymakers, researchers, civil society and industry to discuss how research can strengthen women’s health across the life course and across health systems.

It was opened by Prof. Dr. Veronika von Messling, Head of the Directorate-General for Life Sciences at the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR), and Susanne Hierl, Member of the Bundestag and patron of the event. GLOHRA’s news report has the full summary.

This was my third Parliamentary Evening with GLOHRA, after 2024 and 2025.
