Exploring the Intersection of Radiology Imaging and Immunology in Cancer Cachexia (Bonn–Melbourne)
With Hyun Soo Ko (University of Melbourne / Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre), I organised a hybrid workshop in Bonn on radiology imaging and immunology in cancer cachexia, with talks by Stefan D. Anker, Louise Cheng, Mauricio Berriel Diaz and Hyun Soo Ko, as part of our Bonn–Melbourne collaboration.
On 13 September 2023 Hyun Soo Ko and I organised the workshop “Exploring the Intersection of Radiology Imaging and Immunology in Cancer Cachexia” at the Venusberg Campus of the University Hospital Bonn (Lehrgebäude 10), held on site and on Zoom. It was part of our Bonn–Melbourne collaboration on AI-assisted imaging for cancer cachexia, a tumour-induced wasting disease that affects about 30% of patients with cancer.
