Co-organized a 10-day hands-on workshop on AI in medicine for students of the German International University (GIU) in Berlin, with Nada Sharaf and Rana A. Youness.
Together with Nada Sharaf and Rana A. Youness from the German International University (GIU), I co-organized the 10-day workshop “The Interdisciplinary Medical AI Lab: Deep Learning, Data Fairness, and Digital Medicine” in Berlin on 20–30 July 2026 — “From Cells to Code, From Models to Medicine”. Students from informatics, engineering, biotechnology, medicine and pharmacy followed a Pro-Code or a No-Code/Low-Code track and built impressive prototypes on computational medical imaging and fair, unbiased AI.
