Two days in Berlin for my first Steering Committee meeting of the German Alliance for Global Health Research (GLOHRA) and for GLOHRA Day 2024, together with the Parliamentary Evening at the German Bundestag.

From 26 to 28 June 2024 I was in Berlin for the Steering Committee meeting and GLOHRA Day, the annual symposium of the German Alliance for Global Health Research (GLOHRA). In between, we visited the German Bundestag for the Parliamentary Evening on Germany’s commitment to global health research.

In its first four years GLOHRA had grown to more than 1,000 members from German institutions working with many partners in the Global South. GLOHRA Day 2024 also launched the GLOHRA training repository, which featured our upcoming Summer School on Affordable AI. My thanks go to the previous Steering Committee members for their work and to the GLOHRA office in Berlin for the organisation.
