Invited Talk at the 2nd Workshop on Foundation AI Models in Biomedical Imaging (FAIBI) at ISBI 2026

I gave the invited talk “Rethinking Foundation Models for Medical Imaging: Toward Affordable and Multimodal AI” at the 2nd Workshop on Foundation AI Models in Biomedical Imaging (FAIBI 2026), held with IEEE ISBI 2026 at ExCeL London on 11 April 2026. The talk covered bias in foundation-model representations for mammography, specialised models for histopathology grading with few annotations, and multimodal approaches such as cross-modal prompt learning and vision-language models for federated active learning.
